Bill Dollahite

Bill

Team Owner

Bill has 40 years of motorsport experience as a driver, coach, engineer, team owner, track designer, and industry speaker. He specializes in prototype & GT cars and is a retired Ferrari prototype driver in IMSA where he drove the Ferrari 333 SP in the American Le Mans Series.

As his legacy project, he founded Driveway Austin Motorsports Track & Racing School in Austin, TX, which operated for 16 years training aspiring race drivers, special forces tactical driving with the Department of Defense and even teens for car control and safety.  Ultimately, Oracle purchased the track in 2021 to donate to the City of Austin as a park.


Today, Bill's passion for racing brings him back to his roots and lives on with Dollahite Racing, where his skills and experience enable him to offer a unique range of disciplines in Motorsports, creating yet another  winning organization.

Scott Dollahite

Scott

Driver

Scott is an extremely talented racing driver with over 25 years of hands-on experience.  

Born into a racing family, Scott started his racing career at the age of five in karting. He has competed in numerous prestigious series, including the SKUSA, Grand-Am, Pirelli World Challenge, FARA, IMSA, Rolex 24 Hrs, & Super Copa Mexico. 
 

Beyond his racing achievements, Scott is known for his big heart and dedication to helping others in need. He has dedicated his time to organizations such as Dell Children's Hospital and Make-A-Wish, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community.

Anthony

Driver

Anthony began his career in karting and later progressed through open-wheel racing, winning the Toyota Atlantic Series.
 

He has also competed in NASCAR, primarily as a road course ringer, and has achieved significant success in sports car racing, including victories in the American Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Daytona.

 

Throughout his career, he has driven for notable teams such as Audi and Ferrari. Now, he joins Dollahite Racing, bringing his expertise to the team.

Skinner

Chief Engineer

Skinner, Chief Engineer, has extensive experience in both motorsport & engineering.

 

His journey in the racing industry began as a teenager when he worked as a race mechanic with the Ferrari 333 SP, gaining valuable old-school intuitive knowledge. He has since contributed to the development of the Lotus Evora and the Audi R8.

 

His expertise is further supported by his hands-on experience in state-of-the-art racing technology & engineering simulation software. He holds a degree in Motorsport engineering from NMA. Michael is a key figure in optimizing vehicle performance & team strategy at Dollahite Racing.

Sergio

Lead Mechanic

As a true Austinite, Sergio's mechanical knowledge and passion for motorsports have flourished alongside the vibrant racing scene in Austin.

With over a decade of experience as a mechanic, he has honed his skills over the past three years, specifically in racing mechanics.

His expertise has been instrumental in propelling teams to podium finishes. Notably, he contributed to a first-place win in the AM class at Road America in 2023 for the Mercedes-AMG GT3, and in 2022, he played a key role in securing a class victory at Sonoma in the Yokohama Cup Series for the Porsche GT3 Cup car. 

Sergio now joins Dollahite Racing as the lead mechanic, bringing his wealth of experience and dedication to the team's pursuit of excellence.

Shaun

Race Operations

Shaun has been involved in the racing world since the early 2000s.  Working and driving in SCCA, NASA, and WRL events.

Being the son of a career mechanic sparked his interest in cars at a young age and started his love of fixing cars.  Now, his goal is to compete in race events that, until recently, he only enjoyed watching as a spectator.  

Shaun leverages his background in channel operations and partner development to streamline team processes and foster crucial relationships within the racing community. His expertise in the information technology sector enhances the team's technical capabilities, ensuring Dollahite Racing stays at the forefront of motorsport innovation.

He also has better jokes than Steve & allegedly once defeated him in an arm wrestling match.

Rusty

Mechanic

Rusty has over 10 years of experience as a mechanic.

Todd

Crew & Fabricator

Todd developed a passion for mechanics and fabrication from an early age. Hands-on experience with dirt bikes and in automotive shops led him to the world of endurance dirt track racing, where he’s competed since 2013—building his own race cars from the ground up.

His journey in motorsports began with formal training at Hallett Racing School in 2005 and was further refined at Skip Barber Racing Schools. His expertise includes engine building, transmission work, rear-end setups, suspension tuning, welding, and machining.

 

His background fosters precision, efficiency, and problem-solving—skills directly applicable on the track and in the garage.

Stephen Smith

Stephen

Crew & Security

Stephen is an essential member of the Racing Crew, renowned for his versatility and willingness to tackle any task.  

 

He's truly a jack-of-all-trades, contributing to the team's success both on and off the track. Stephen wears many hats, playing a crucial role in pit lane operations, including fueling and wheel/tire pit stops. He's also known for his strength, lending his muscles to any heavy lifting the team requires. 

 

However, Stephen's contributions go beyond his physical abilities; his comedic personality keeps his spirits high and makes him a beloved member of the crew.

Candace

Hospitality & Communications

Candace serves as the Hospitality & Communications Coordinator, enhancing the experience for the team and special guests.
 

With degrees from Williams College and Sarah Lawrence College, she combines her passion for writing and hospitality with her interest in racing. She has facilitated hospitality services for organizations such as Jackson Dawson, Volvo, and Ford.
 

Candace is known for her engaging personality and commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere in the competitive world of motorsports.

Carrie

Chef 

Chef Carrie has become an integral part of the Dollahite Racing team, traveling to seven race locations to use her culinary skills to provide meals for the drivers, pit crew, team owners, and guests. 
 

As a seasoned chef and baker, she launched her own business, Carrie’s Kitchen, in February 2025, where she specializes in creating homemade meals that blend comfort and flavor.
 

Carie's presence is pivotal for Dollahite Racing. Her ability to keep the team well-fed and energized while fostering camaraderie through shared meals makes her a key player in the team.

Dean

Truck Driver & Pit Crew

Dean began his career driving 18-wheelers at just 19, hauling hay and cattle across Texas.

 

His passion for motorsports led him to a role in race car transportation with Porsche and SRO racing teams in 2021. Eventually, becoming an instructor at a local dirt track rally driving school.

Dean has come out of retirement to join the Dollahite Racing Team, aiming to secure a championship in their first year. With his safe transportation skills and sharp wit, he is determined to retire as a champion.

 

You can find Dean online as a stand up comedian on Instagram @deanastanfield or headlining comedy clubs across the country when not on the road with the team.
